INTO furniture made Mapvision's premises more functional
Mapvision's new office premises in Konala, Helsinki, were equipped with INTO POD PHONE phone booths and STORY WALL space dividers, so that the large open spaces could be adapted to everyone's needs.
Oy Mapvision Ltd was founded in 1987 and is active in the manufacture of measuring, testing and navigational instruments and equipment.
POD PHONE phone boxes were placed in the middle of the open spaces to make them easily accessible to all. The phone booths make the space multi-purpose and provide privacy for phone calls and quick online meetings. To make the POD PHONE phone booths accessible to all employees, we added wheelchair ramps to facilitate mobility.
Where the telephone booths were designed to bring peace and quiet to the space and support private work, the STORY WALL acoustic partitions softened the soundscape and provided better opportunities for teamwork and collaborative planning.
Rolling stock STORY WALL idea walls support flexible ways of working by allowing ideas and plans to be easily shared across the team. The STORY WALLs are covered with a blanket on which you can attach documents to be shared or, for example, timetables. The walls are also available with tussle stickers, which are attached with a magnet and are easy to move. STORY WALLs' curved top corners absorb and refract sound waves, making the space sound-friendly.
