Modernisation of Orion's headquarters
Espoo-based pharmaceutical company Orion The head office was completed in 1984. After 40 years of use, the premises underwent a complete renovation, with architectural and interior design by Interior designers Gullstén-Inkinen Oy.
With the modernisation of the premises, the traditional room office was upgraded to a modern, multi-purpose office, with timelessness and adaptability being favoured in the furniture choices. To support this change, a wide range of furniture from INTO's product range was selected for each floor of the building: various POD rooms (23 pcs), POINT sofas (107 units) and TOP tables (15 pcs).
POINT sofas adaptable to the space
The aim was to respect the original architecture and emphasise layering by preserving the old and adding the new. The existing spaces were upgraded by changing their use. For example, the pool and sauna area of the building was transformed into a spectacular restaurant space using INTO POINT sofas. The wide range of sizes and colours available for POINT sofas made it possible to tailor the sofa groups to suit the space.

POINT sofas the adaptability was exploited in a dining area next to a busy thoroughfare, where bar-height sofas were wanted to improve the user experience for diners. The group of sofas is surrounded by a large number of people and the higher seating height allowed the faces of both the seated and the people passing by to be at the same level. This makes dining in the restaurant world more comfortable, despite the people walking past. At the client's request, blue colour pops were introduced to the space in line with the company's brand colour scheme.

POINT sofas can be found not only in the restaurant world, but also in the meeting rooms of the building. Sofas are an easy way to create more versatile seating. The space is also complemented by height-adjustable TOP LIFT tables, whose stable design, lightweight lifting mechanism and sleek appearance have received positive feedback from users.
Easily accessible retreat facilities
The building's restaurant world was supplied with two INTO POD ROLL-retreat mode, which have become a favourite meeting place for staff.

Both INTO's two-person offices and the INTO's two-person office were provided with POD 2 rooms to POD PHONE phone heads. By taping the glass, PODs were easily made more private.
POD 2 is a versatile workspace, suitable for both independent, focused work and one-to-one meetings. The PODs were furnished POINT sofas and TOP tables. Three different sized pieces of sofa created a retreat that can accommodate up to four people working at the same time.
Quick calls and online meetings are easy to manage POD PHONE in the phone box, which are easily accessible in the vicinity of the workplaces.
