Trimble is a software company founded in 1978 and started operations in Finland in 2011. Trimble Finland Oy. headquarters moved to Leppävaara in Espoo in 2021. The new premises were intended to be able to adapt and expand with the growing company and its staff. Project management and interior design solutions were provided by Interior designers Gullsten-Inkinen Oy.

Trimble's new premises will be used by 450 employees and will consist of six floors, three of which are working floors, with a lobby and conference centre at the bottom and a multifunctional space at the top. The project started with a needs analysis to determine how much and what type of office space was required. The themes that emerged from the analysis were flexibility, quality and durability, and these characteristics led to the choice of INTO furniture: different sizes of POD rooms (47 pcs), POINT sofa- (105 units), CUBE- (6 units), and CUBE SOLO-sofas (4 pieces), TOP-tables (131), STORY WALL - space divider-(33 units), and STEP- (4 pcs) and ROLL IN desks (6).

The ceiling panels in POD rooms come in a wide range of colours.
POD PHONE phone booths are located on all office floors.

 

INTO furniture on all floors

INTO furniture was used on all floors except the lobby. From INTO's wide range of products, a wide variety of furniture has been used in the Trimble premises.

POINT sofas in working lounges and as additional seating in meeting rooms, where they add a nice touch of colour and improve acoustics. In a multifunctional space, where all other furniture moves around to suit the needs of different events, the long, fixed POINT sofa calms the space.

Near the working areas there are areas for PODs of different sizes, which offer the possibility to, for example, retreat to work in peace, pair code or negotiate with up to six people.

Each floor has a working lounge connected to the kitchen, furnished with POINT sofas, TOP tables and with telephone booths. As the work spaces are divided into three floors with designated workstations for each employee, an internal staircase was built between the spaces to make it easier for employees to move around and work together. POINT sofas are ergonomic sofa modules with sloping backrests and firm seat cushions to support an ergonomic sitting position. The client chose sockets in every other sofa module to make it easy for workers to work in the space. The TOP tables are solidly constructed and will stand the test of time, not only in terms of their features but also in terms of their appearance. TOP tables are perfect for coffee breaks as well as for long hours of work.

There are areas near the workstations where you can work together. INTO seating furniture, such as POINT CUP-, CUBE- and CUBE SOLO-sofas support teamwork. Thanks to their high backrests, these seating solutions create an acoustically comfortable environment. STEP IN desktop can be adjusted to a height that suits the user. POD 2 and POD 3 workspaces are suitable for one-to-one work requiring concentration, as well as online meetings and pair work.

ROLL IN desks and POD rooms provide acoustic spaces for private work. STORY WALL-inserts act as space dividers, and are used for internal communication and sketching. STORY WALLs are available for 1-4 marker boards and Display- and pussy holders and they always have wheels, so that they as easy as possible to move around.
