The Puotila Primary School in Helsinki renewed its learning environment with the aim of developing spaces that support learning, promote concentration and adapt flexibly to different needs. As part of the renovation, the school was provided with Martelan with 53 STORY WALL - a room divider plus 9 Permalink structuring open spaces.
The solutions helped to create pedagogically functional, visually clear and acoustically peaceful learning environments that support both individual and group work.
Adaptability to support teaching

Corner pieces to create coherent and peaceful ensembles
The corner blocks supplied with the room dividers allowed the creation of 90-degree angles and room-like ensembles without the need for solid walls. This increased visual clarity, improved acoustics and supported learning through a more appropriate use of space.
